Scavengerfest is such a fun evening exploring different gems throughout the CSRA, while bringing unlikely people together for a twist on a family favorite game. We look forward to this event each year.

2021 was the first time that I participated or sponsored Scavengerfest. I had heard about it over the years and always assumed that it was a simple, normal scavenger hunt that you played as a kid. I initially agreed to sponsor to help support Ricky and the great cause that the event benefits, the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Augusta. I was extremely impressed with every aspect of the event.
From a Sponsor standpoint, Ricky and his team do an unbelievable job of tying in bonus points to each individual sponsor. There are opportunities for the sponsor themselves to get involved with site visits, side games, or bonus Q & A. Or, it can be as simple as requiring a picture with the team and sponsor's sign or logo to be posted to Facebook. It is quite a brilliant use of marketing dollars because it floods Facebook with pictures/tags and requires teams to visit that otherwise may not be the traditional target market.
From a Team/Player standpoint, I was even more impressed with the level of thought and depth that went into the game. This is more a blend of escape room and scavenger hunt and was fairly impossible to complete in full. The strategy and intellect required in this game will definitely fulfill any thrill seeker. For those simply looking for a fun, educational night out, I'm not sure that I have participated in another event...EVER, that has been as entertaining!

Scavengerfest has been a staple for the last 6 years for my group of friends. We look forward to it every year. It has really turned out to be a big family hunt with all of the other returning groups each year. We all have so much fun. It's very exciting when you run into the other groups around Augusta. We have found several new places to eat, and some really cool local shops to take advantage of. Not only is it a night of fun and adventure that is only one night a year, it's for a very good cause.
